Caffeine & Octane Moved to January 15th

Jan
06
It's official- we have moved the show date to next Sunday, January 15th. Please help spread the word, and tell everyone everyone you know who was planning to come to the show. With Snowmageddon 2013 still fairly fresh in our minds, we decided it was better to play it safe. We hope that by making this decision earlier rather than later, it will help with everyone's weekend plans, and not have to worry about trying to get to the show on Sunday morning. Please stay safe over the weekend, and we hope to see you on January 15th! - The Caffeine & Octane Crew

Chevrolet has released numbers for Corvette’s 2016 model year and although sales were soft though the winter, the final tally has probably made GM very, very happy. The National Corvette Museum (NCM) brings us the story.

Need Corvette Parts For Your C5 or C6 and Don't Want To Pay For New? VetteNuts.net To The Rescue!

The replacement carpet from VetteNuts
Rear truck before adding the new carpet
rear trunk after the carpet insert was installed

I recently needed the rear trunk carpet inserts for the three compartments in the rear of the C5 Corvette. It's a single piece of molded carpet that inserts into the rear of the trunk. From Chevrolet, the cost is $475, if you can find a dealer that still has one in stock as it looks like it's not being manufactured anymore. To the rescue came https://www.VetteNuts.net, an online used Corvette parts seller. They had a used piece in stock for $49. It arrived via Priority Mail 3 days after ordering and it basically looked brand new. Below are pictures of the carpet and before and after shots.

I recommend this place if you are looking for replacement parts for your C5 or your C6.
